Students completed their professional practice

Ivan Juranić and Luka Crnogorac are students who got the opportunity to start their student internship and IT career in the House of Code, where they assiduously studied and worked on a real project named Organizer.

Through this paid internship program, students had the opportunity to develop new software solutions and work on real projects under the guidance of three mentors Ivan Radošević, Bojan Raguž and Filip Zelenika.

Effort, hard work, commitment, and the will to learn and progress are always felt, and so was it in this case, so after the official completion of the internship, students were given the opportunity to stay and work permanently in the House of Code.

Ivan and Luka can best say about the student internship at the House of Code:

Ivan Juranić: I can say that this is one of the best experiences I have had, and I think this is the perfect start for anyone who wants to get into the IT sector.

“After 5 weeks in the House of Code, I can say that this is one of the best experiences I have had, and I think this is the perfect start for anyone who wants to get into the IT sector. I did not think that I would gather so much knowledge in such a short time. “- said Ivan Juranić.

“The atmosphere in the company is casual and everyone is ready for teamwork, and as for my mentors Ivan and Filip, I have only words of praise. When I encountered any problem, we would solve it together and they would always take extra time and explain to me how the problem came about and how to get around it in the future.

This is a great approach for a quality and fast way to learn and navigate new technologies. This was a great experience and the Internship fully met my expectations!”- said Ivan.

Luka Crnogorac: I learned that with the right team you work without pressure, freely, and yet according to defined rules and goals that guide you.

Luka Crnogorac described his internship at the House of Code as follows: “In these six weeks, I have learned a lot. I have learned that the knowledge you have gained so far doesn’t determine your success in more advanced, sometimes daunting tasks but the desire to learn and effort without compromise.

I’ve learned that with the right team you work without pressure, freely, and yet according to defined rules and goals that guide you.

I’ve learned that from just one real opportunity provided you can show that you’re worth more than those who gave you a thousand bad ones, if at all, think.

During my internship at the House of Code, I learned all this, and I am convinced that this is just the beginning of one fantastic story.
