Boris Magaš, Professional Certified Coach (PCC) & Agile Coach, an employee who works remotely from Osijek for House of Code, held this workshop.
Although basic Scrum training usually lasts 2 days, this time Boris Magaš condensed the lecture to a duration of three hours. During this time three-hour version the following topics were covered:
- The Agile Manifesto
- Agile principles

- Scrum accountabilities
- Scrum events
- Scrum artifacts
The primary value is awareness
“Go back to basic – Scrum” is a workshop intended for all House of Code employees, especially for employees working on projects for the German Immowelt.
“The purpose of the workshop was for the participants to see the difference between what they went through during the training and the process they currently have.” – said workshop manager Boris Magaš. He added that a workshop like this can help colleagues at work.
The primary value of this scrum workshop, as Boris said, was awareness. “It can help in this way that if we properly apply the Scrum framework, we can bring value, not only to the team but also to the entire organization.”
The final word
“Scrum is not a silver bullet or a magic wand that will solve our problems. However, it is a tool (filter) that will show us what is good, and what we can do better. And we are the ones who need to deal with it,” commented Boris at the end.
