The concept of professional practice for students and pupils is one of the best opportunities to become part of a company for the first time, learn to work in a team, but also to try to apply in practice all the theory learned in school or college.
In recent months, House of Code has become richer for several students who decided to learn or expand their knowledge with us.
Lara Jambrović: “Everyone deserves to work in such an atmosphere and with such people.”
Lara Jambrović is a pupil who is staying in the House of Code for a total of 5 weeks. According to her, Lara is more than satisfied with the work and conditions in our company.
“The work I’m learning and doing seems difficult, but interesting. The people in the company are approachable and fun. The atmosphere is calm, relaxed, and the mentors are great.” Lara would recommend an internship or job at the House of Code to others because she believes that everyone deserves to work in such an atmosphere and with such people. “There are no disadvantages for me, and as an advantage I would list all the opportunities that were given to me, along with the atmosphere and people, I believe that isn’t like this in all companies, but this is one of the better ones I’ve heard about.
Pavel Spirovski Ehmer: “Working conditions are absolutely perfect, I’ve learned a lot in the last 2 months.”
Pavel Spirovski Ehmer, a Programming Student at RIT, finished his third year of college, and decided to start his career in the IT sector right here in House of Code.
Pavel says that he is very satisfied with the work experience he got in our company and that everyone on the team was ready to help him whenever he needed to. “Working conditions are absolutely perfect, I’ve learned a lot in the last 2 months. Working in this company revived my will for programming.”
Pavel has only words of praise for his mentor, Denis Truhlaž, who was at his disposal at all times: “Denis was constantly trying to teach me something new, even more than I did.”
Jure Širić: “I really like the atmosphere in the office, everyone is calm and there’s no tension like in other companies.”
“I saw an ad on social media, some things settled down and I was very happy to get the opportunity.”- said Jure Širić, a third-year student at the Faculty of Graphic Arts in Zagreb, who is working for our company for the last several months.
“When I look back on those five months spent at this company, I can’t understand how time has passed so quickly.” – says Jure who after a successful internship he became a permanent member of our company.
“I like the office, which is quite solidly equipped with computers and dual screens on every desk. In addition, I really like the atmosphere in the office, everyone is calm and there’s no tension like in other companies.” When asked if he is satisfied with the work in our company, Jure answers: “In short, yes! I have no objections to point out, only praise.”
“I am aware that I am still ‘green’, but knowledge and experience come with time and effort. People in the House of Code are really good, always ready to help, and they know how to joke when needed. They do their job very well.” Jure says that he definitely would recommend the internship or work in the House of Code to others: “Yes, I would certainly like to recommend the internship as well to others. First, they would have the opportunity to work for the international partners of House of Code (Immowelt, Aviv Group) and gain useful experience. On the other hand, we work in smaller teams, so the atmosphere is not so tense, and everyone is in a friendly mood.”
The intention of the company “House of code” is to continue to offer internships with the possibility of permanent employment. The future is in the youth!
